Cónchar

Nestled within the mountains of the Lecrin Valley, Cónchar is perhaps situated in the most beautiful of settings of all the villages of the valley. It is surrounded by dramatic scenery, full of orange and lemon trees with spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
The village church (Iglesia Parroquial de San Pedro) dates to the 17th Century. There is a bar/restaurant and a bakery (Dulces Caseros Daniel), which opens in the winter months.
Within walking distance from Cónchar are historic thermal baths (Banos de Urquizar) and a spectacular waterfall (Salto de agua Arroyo del Alcázar).
